About Legal Aid
The Legal Aid Society of Hawai`i is a public interest, non-profit law firm dedicated to achieving fairness and justice for Hawai`i's people through legal advocacy, outreach and education for those in need.
Established in 1950, Legal Aid has ten offices statewide, and over 100 staff members dedicated to achieving Legal Aid’s vision of “Building a Just Society.” Legal Aid responds to inquiries from approximately 20,000 individuals each year, and about 9,500 of those individuals receive legal services ranging from advice and counsel to full representation.
