If you are coming to the Hillsboro Regional Office from Portland, use the directions below rather than directions from Google. 

Directions to LASO - Hillsboro

By car (35 minutes to one hour from downtown Portland, depending on traffic):

• From Portland, take Hwy 26 heading west, toward the coast.
• Take the Shute Road/Helvetia exit (after 185th and Cornelius Pass exits).
• Turn left on Shute Road.
• After crossing Evergreen Parkway, the name of Shute Road changes to Brookwood Parkway.  Go straight onto Brookwood Parkway.
• At the end of Brookwood Parkway (about four miles from Hwy 26), turn right on Cornell Road.
• Follow Cornell Road as it turns left into the main part of Hillsboro.  Cornell becomes 10th Avenue.
• Turn right on Main Street (there's a stop light there, and a curved right turn lane)(it's the next street after Lincoln)(if you miss Main, turn right on Baseline).
• Turn right on 2nd Avenue.
• LASO is in the second block after Main.  We are one block north of the courthouse, on the right side of the street.
• 230 NE 2nd is the Linklater Commons office complex.  We are in the two story gray office building in the back.  The door to Suite A is in the corner of the building.  The sign still says Oregon Legal Services.

By lightrail (MAX)(one hour from downtown Portland):

• Take the MAX line west to Hillsboro.
• Get off at the 3rd Avenue stop.  Walk west on Washington Street one block to Second Avenue.
• Turn right and walk two and a half blocks to the LASO office.
