The Legal Hotline for Older Iowans conducts free legal education presentations to organizations and community groups about legal issues of interest to older Iowans.  Most presentations concern life planning issues such as wills, health care directives, avoiding probate, and paying for nursing home and other long-term care expenses.  Other presentations are about protecting yourself from telemarketing fraud, debt collection problems and privacy issues.

The Legal Hotline is a special project of Iowa Legal Aid.
