At their 2006 national conference in Washington, D.C., the Housing Justice Network and National Housing Law Project gave us an award for our Katrina legal work. The award was made to us representative of all Gulf Area legal services advocates.

The award reads "With anguish, heroism and grace, you survived the storm and returned to rebuild. We honor your daily resolve and your tireless efforts, as we offer our support for the long struggle ahead."
