Our attorney, Bernadette D'Souza, has been selected as the Chair for the Service Delivery System Work Group for the New Orleans Family Justice Center.

The U.S. Department of Justice will help establish a Family Justice Center for domestic violence and sexual assault victims in New Orleans.  This Family Justice Center will be the 16th Center established under President Bush's Family Justice Center initiative.

A Family Justice Center provides holistic, "one stop" social, medical and legal services for victims.  The Center will ultimately house many agencies that provide services to domestic violence victims.

Ms. D'Souza has been a domestic violence attorney at our New Orleans office for many years and is well known for her domestic violence advocacy.
