Can't find the legal information you need on LawHelp.Org/LA?  Soon you will be able to access the legal information quickly with LiveHelp.

What is LiveHelp?  LiveHelp is a free online chat service that directs you to the legal information you need on LawHelp.Org/LA - with assistance from a live person! 

How does it Work?  LiveHelp is convenient and easy to use.  You simply "chat" online with LiveHelp Navigator who has been trained to help you find the legal information you need on LawHelp.Org/LA or other online legal resources.

Do I need to install special software to use LiveHelp?  No, you only need to click on the "LiveHelp" button on the LawHelp.Org/LA website, type your question to the LiveHelp Navigator, and they will quickly send you the location of the information that answers your question.

Who can use LiveHelp?  LiveHelp is available to anyone who needs assistance with navigating through resources on LawHelp.Org/LA.

What types of questions can I ask? Questions about how to navigate the LawHelp.Org/LA website are appropriate.  LiveHelp Navigators may not give legal advice ? they cannot tell you how to solve your legal problem.  Navigators may only direct you to legal information about common legal issues, such as divorce, parenting plans, landlord and tenant issues, and disability benefits and more. 

What does LiveHelp cost?  We will offer LiveHelp as a FREE service to LawHelp.Org/LA website visitors.

What personal information do we ask for? You are not required to provide any personal information to use LiveHelp. However, if you leave a message at a time when LiveHelp is not available, you must provide your email address in order to receive a response to your question. 

When will Louisiana LiveHelp available on LawHelp.Org/LA?  LiveHelp will be available during the fall of 2007. 

LiveHelp is a project of Southeast Louisiana Legal Services, The Louisiana Civil Justice Center, the Louisiana Bar Foundation, Legal Services Corporation, the United Way and ProBono.Net.
