Ms. Crear is a member of the Louisiana and Texas state bars, and she has worked as a law clerk for the Louisiana Supreme Court and the Orleans Parish Civil District Court. She has been the Chief Operating Officer of a 50-employee corporation.

At Georgia Tech, Ms. Crear was the Volunteer Coordinator for about 100 volunteers who mentored disadvantaged children.
