Brian Lenard, co-director of Southeast Louisiana Legal Services, has been named to serve on the Board of Directors of the national Center for Survivor Agency and Justice. Since its inception in 2000, CSAJ has served as a technical assistance provider for the network of over 200 Legal Assistance for Victims grantees, funded by the Office on Violence Against Women, U.S. Department of Justice. It is dedicated to enhancing advocacy for survivors of oppression-based intimate partner violence. It meets this goal by cultivating a community of attorneys and advocates who are skilled in survivor-centered advocacy and capable of meeting the entire spectrum of civil legal assistance needs of survivors through their own advocacy and in partnership with others. |
