Those gathered for the 2008 National Lawyers Guild Conference in Detroit heard Jauna Crear and Lauren Bartlett's presentation: "The Freedom Summer of the 21st Century." Jauna is a staff attorney in the Housing Law Unit and Pro Bono Counsel to New Orleans Legal Assistance, an office of Southeast Louisiana Legal Services. Lauren is a staff attorney with the organization's foreclosure prevention unit.
