    Every hour of every day, someone in South Carolina needs essential services-from finding substance abuse assistance, getting the latest information in a crisis, to securing adequate care for a child or an aging parent. Faced with a huge number of public and private agencies, help lines, and phone numbers, people often don't know where to turn or how to get through ‘the maze’. In many cases, people end up going without these necessary and readily available services because they do not know where to start.
