Below you can find education and special education resources for the 2021-2022 school year.

 

DCPS: You can find the most up-to-date information at the DC Public Schools Reopen 2021-2022 website here.

 

Charter Schools: You can find the reopening status for D.C. Charter Schools here.

 

Strong Start (Early Intervention services for infants and toddlers) is open and providing in-person services or telehealth (remote) services and is taking new referrals. Call the Strong Start Child Find Hotline at (202)727-3665 or use this form to start the referral process.

 

Parents who are dealing with stresses can now access free counseling and mental health services through the D.C. Access Helpline by calling (1-888-793-4357). You can learn more about the Parent Support Program here.

  • Information about Meal Sites for Students under 18 (DCPS): For the 2021-2022 school year, all students can recieve free breakfast and lunch service. There are also locations for DC youth 18 years and younger or parent or guardians on their behalf, to receive multiple-day meal kits every Monday and Wednesday from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM:
