Quienes Somos
The Tahirih Justice Center is a recognized national leader in providing free immigration legal services, legislative advocacy, and expertise on behalf of immigrant women and girls fleeing gender-based human rights abuses including domestic violence, sexual assault, human trafficking, female genital mutilation, honor crimes, and forced marriage. Through its Falls Church VA office, Tahirih serves ethnically diverse immigrant women and girls of all ages who live in Washington DC and the Greater DC metropolitan area. Tahirih also serves clients through its Baltimore, MD and Houston, TX locations.

| Restricciones de elegibilidad | The Tahirih Justice Center focuses our efforts on cases that fall within the scope of our mission. Accepted requests must involve the protection of immigrant women and girls from persecution—although men may be eligible for assistance in order to protect their female family members from abuse. In those instances when requests for assistance fall outside Tahirih’s scope, staff members make every effort to locate other service providers who can offer the prospective client assistance. |
