Who We Are
Legal Services (civil) for people living with HIV/AIDS; for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) persons; and for medical and behavioral health patients of Whitman-Walker Health regardless of HIV status or sexual orientation or gender identity. Services offered to these groups include: access to health care; Social Security, Medicaid, Medicare and other public benefit programs; discrimination based on HIV, sexual orientation or transgender status; wills, advance medical directives and powers of attorney; asylum and other immigration issues; and transgender law (including name and gender changes in legal identity documents).

Income Guidelines | We do not have specific income guidelines, except for our estate planning services. Prospective estate planning clients must have an annual income of less than 400% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines and liquid assets of less than $25,000. |
