D.C. Minimum Wage Increased to $17 on July 1. The minimum wage in D.C. increased to $17 per hour on July 1, 2023 for all workers, regardless of the size of the employer.

Nonprofits Can Advocate Without Risking Tax-Exempt Status. While 501(c)(3) nonprofits are subject to restrictions on political intervention and the amount of lobbying they can perform, they can engage in a wide range of advocacy activities.
