As an entrepreneur or nonprofit executive, one of the most valuable assets your organization will own is its intellectual property. Protecting your name, logo, or curriculum may have significant effects on your success. Safeguarding innovation may also ensure that your enterprise remains competitive in a constantly evolving marketplace. To make sure to protect your efforts, filing a trademark or enforcing your IP rights may be a necessary step.

In this four-part webinar series, the D.C. Bar Pro Bono Center, in partnership with the law firm Steptoe LLP, will emphasize the importance of protecting your intellectual property and discuss trademarks, patents, copyrights and trade secrets.

The webinar series is appropriate for small businesses and nonprofits (or start-ups of either), as well as self-employed individuals.

This fourth session focuses on trade secrets.
