Self-Help Centers & Access to Justice Rooms
The Hawaii Court Self-Help Centers and Access to Justice Rooms are a joint effort of the Hawaii State Judiciary, the Hawaii Access To Justice Commission, the Hawaii State Bar Association, local bar associations, and the Legal Aid Society of Hawaii to help self-represented litigants better understand their rights and the court process. This is a free program provided by the help of volunteer attorneys.

What to do if your Protective Order is Violated
If you have been granted a Temporary Restraining Order (TRO) by a Family Court judge or a District Court judge, the Court has ordered your abuser (the respondent of the TRO) to abide by the conditions set out in the TRO.
Women Helping Women
If you or someone you know is in an abusive relationship and needs help staff in West Maui and on Lanai are available 24 hours a day to assist callers in preparing safety plans, respond to general questions about domestic violence, provide referrals, and share additional information about our programs and services.
YWCA of Kauai Family Violence Shelter
Services provided by the Family Violence Shelter include: a 24-hour hotline, counseling, support groups, safety planning, referrals and advocacy, assistance with protective orders, and an emergency shelter.
