Who We Are
The Hawaii Disability Rights Center is part of the nationwide Protection and Advocacy System established by Congress. Our advocates and attorneys protect people with physical and mental disabilities from unlawful discrimination in education, employment, therapeutic programs in government and private facilities, housing, public benefits like Social Security, and barriers to equal access in public places. HDRC's staff members are residents of -- or regularly visit -- the neighbor islands of Kauai, Maui, Molokai, Lanai and the Big Island. There is never any fee for our services.
