Who We Are

KEO Mediation Program handles a wide variety of conflicts for families, neighborhoods, businesses and government agencies including the following types of disputes: American Disability Association, Adult Diversion Restitution, Civil Rights, Consumer/Merchant, Divorce, Domestic, Juvenile, Landlord/Tenant, Neighbor, Peer Mediation, Small Claims, and Real Estate. Mediation is a voluntary process that offers an effective, inexpensive way to resolve a dispute quickly. Mediators do not give advice or decide who is right or wrong. Mediators will facilitate the parties to negotiate their issues and help put the agreement in writing.

Income Guidelines

No income requirements.
The Mediation fee is based on a sliding scale based on annual household income. For those with financial hardships, fees are either reduced or waived entirely. No one is turned away for lack of funds.

KEO Mediation Program does not mediate criminal cases or instances involving an active Temporary Restraining Order (TRO).

Description of Services

Mediation is an informal process involving an impartial third party (Mediator/s) who facilitates dialogue between disputing parties to negotiate their issues and help put an agreement in writing. Each session may last up to 2 or 3 hours.
