Human Trafficking and the T-VISA

Human Trafficking is modern-day slavery.Traffickers target many types of people into entering the United States because of false promises of good jobs and better lives. When people arrive to the United States, they are often forced to work under inhumane conditions, abused, and not paid as promised. The Hawaii Immigrant Justice Center at the Legal Aid Society of Hawaii provides free legal services to human trafficking victims.
