Hawaii Self-Help Interactive Forms
Legal Aid Society of Hawaii, the Hawaii State Judiciary, and the Hawaii State Bar, with funding from the Legal Services Corporation's Technology Initiatives Grant, have collaborated to bring free interactive interviews that create court forms and legal documents to help self-represented individuals throughout Hawaii. The interactive forms were developed for use by limited income persons representing themselves in civil legal matters, but are available free of charge to all persons. The interactive interviews ask a series of questions to complete a legal form or court approved document. The interactive interviews also provide helpful information and instructions for next steps.These interviews can be used Statewide unless noted otherwise.
Self-Help Form: Appearance and Waiver
Use this interactive interview if you have received a Complaint for Divorce, agree with your spouse (Plaintiff) on the matters of the divorce, and signed the Divorce Decree. Completing and filing the Appearance and Waiver means that you agree that the court may grant the divorce without you going to court.
