Self-Help Divorce Forms


 

Summary

You may use these forms if you want to file for divorce or if your spouse has filed for divorce against you.

The self-help divorce forms will ask questions that you must answer in order to complete the form(s). 

  • You will enter all information using the computer.
  • In order to complete the forms, you will need to enter personal information about you and your spouse.
  • When you have finished completing the forms, you will be able to print them out.

Plaintiff Forms

You may use these forms if:

  • You have not lived together with your spouse in the same house for at least one (1) year,
  • You have not had sexual relations with your spouse for at least one (1) year,
  • You have no marital debts that need to be divided by the court,
  • You have no marital property that needs to be divided by the court,
  • You have no children under 18 (if you do, click here for more information)
  • You and your spouse have lived in South Carolina for at least 3 months or you have lived in South Carolina for at least one (1) year.

Defendant Forms

You may use these forms if:
